About Us

Trent Valley Electrical Services Ltd. was formed in 1991 by Jason Oxenforth with support from his father Ian in a father and son Partnership. It was very much a family affair as Jason’s sister Rachel carried out all the accounts work for him and his mum ran the office.

In the early years, to get the business established, Jason and Ian worked long hours carrying out full rewires in just 2 days. Jason took on his first member of staff in 1995.

We were accepted by the N.I.C.E.I.C. in 1996 as a competent company and also comply with the Domestic Installer Scheme.

The business grew over the years and now Trent Valley Electrical Services Ltd. have 9 full time members of staff, still having valuable consultancy support and experience from Ian.

All our personnel are regularly updated to comply with current BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and hold the C&G Certificate 2381, whilst most of our employees hold the C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing Certificate. Our senior members of staff hold Man Lift licenses and have First Aid Training.

The day to day running of the office is now overseen by Debra, Jason’s wife who is the office administrator.

Most of our staff have been with us for a number of years; we like to think our employees are happy working for us and they all get along very well.

We are based in Gunness, just outside Scunthorpe but can work locally and nationally carrying out a range of electrical work from PAT Testing to the rewiring of large Commercial/Industrial Buildings.
