Inspection and Testing Electrical Installations

Trent Valley Electrical Services carry out Periodic Inspection and Testing of electrical installations to comply with BS7671 Wiring Regulations (17th ) Edition for Domestic Electrical Installations.

 

Commercial and Industrial Electrical Installations - Single phase and three phase a.c. for:

1. Safety against electric shock

2. Protection against damage by fire and heat from installation defect

3. Confirmation that installation is not damaged or deteriorated

4. Identification of installation defects and noncompliance

These are carried out after certain periods of time, i.e.

Domestic - 10 years or change of ownership or tenancy or after water or fire damage
Industrial - every 3 years
Licensed Premises i.e. Churches, Public Houses, Caravan Parks, Leisure Complexes - every 3 or 5 years.
