Project overview
We were commissioned to supply and install a dedicated electric vehicle charging solution at a residential property, providing the homeowner with a safe, reliable, and convenient way to charge their electric vehicle at home.

Installation works
The project involved the supply and installation of a Zappi 7kW tethered EV charger (black), a smart charging unit designed for efficient home charging and compatibility with renewable energy systems. The charger was installed in a suitable external location to allow easy access for the homeowner’s vehicle.

To ensure a safe and compliant installation, we also supplied and installed a dedicated surge-protected EV consumer unit with RCD protection. This provides the necessary electrical protection for the charging circuit and helps safeguard both the charger and the property’s electrical system.

The charger was wired using EV Ultra cable, which integrates power and data connectivity within a single cable, allowing for a neat, efficient installation while maintaining compliance with current electrical regulations.

The completed installation provides the customer with:
